American revolutionary Samuel Adams once remarked:
"Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination
nor both together go to the making of genius.
Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius."

If this is true, then our friend Emmett James Morgan, Jr., was indeed a genius.

Emmett loved people. And people loved him.

This page is our small way of honoring Emmett and continuing his legacy of love and kindness.

Women Loved Emmett

See, Emmett had a way about him.  First of all he was stunning.  And it didn’t matter your age, race, gay, straight.  When Emmett Morgan walked into the room you went a little weak in the knees.

Because Emmett had a gift.  He made you feel special and he made you feel beautiful, and he was so happy and peaceful in his world that when you were around him you couldn’t help but be happy and peaceful in your world too!

I went to Emmett many times for advice with some crisis that I was dealing with, and I would cry and pour my heart out and inevitably at some point he would start laughing.

And it wasn’t just a giggle; he would laugh like what I was saying was the funniest thing he had ever heard.

And I would say, “Emmett, my life is falling apart. Why are you laughing at me?”

And he would say, “Because you’re ridiculous, you know exactly what to do.  Go and live your life and be happy because you’re perfect exactly the way that you are."

And that’s why women…people...wanted to be around him because in his eyes you were special and beautiful and perfect exactly the way that are.
